Running a macro that modifies anything in the workbook will typically clear the undo stack. One really great feature of this add-in is the ability to preserve the undo stack. – alignment (left, right, centered, etc.) – border properties (color, weight, line style, etc.) – text formatting (bold, italics, underline, etc.) Cell Style – Applies the cell style to the selected cell(s).Font+Fill – Applies both the font and fill color to the selected cell(s).Fill – Applies the fill color (cell shading or background) to the selected cell(s).Font – Applies the font color to the selected cell(s).Pressing the keyboard shortcut will apply the saved formatting to the selected cell(s). The cell format can be changed by simply clicking the Cell Format button, then selecting a cell in your workbook that contains the formatting you want to apply when the keyboard shortcut is pressed. Clicking the button opens the following form where you can customize the key for the keyboard shortcuts and the format type. The add-in adds a “Formatting Shortcuts” button to the Add-in tab on your ribbon.

Cell Styles include: font color, fill color, number formatting, text formatting, border properties, alignment, cell protection, etc. The Formatting Shortcuts add-in allows you to create keyboard shortcuts to quickly apply font colors, fill colors, or cell styles to the selected cell(s).
